Hedwig Cattery has been showing/Breeding the following breeds, (Exotic Shorthair, Longhair, Persian and Himlayan) since 1989. I am proud to say I have also titled and managed to get National winners in all of the same breeds. Our cattery is a CFA and CCA registered cattery.
Another claim to fame is the fact that many of our cats have also been shown on the CBC TV, when the stations wanted to show examples of the breed/s, as well as many commercials and product ads, which my cats have represented, over the years.
Our cattery is a cage-less cattery. The entire colony of cats/kittens are 100% DNA-PKD tested negative since 2005, when the DNA test first became available. The kittens are 100% litter trained to clumping litter., All kittens/cats are trained for full grooming & bathing. Kittens/cats are spayed or neutered before leaving our cattery. (Unless moving to another breeding program, with a registered breeder). All cats and kittens come with the following paperwork: Signed health certificate from two different vet clinics, All shots required for the 1st year, DNA-PKD copy of negative status, CCA and CFA registration, contract with health gurantee and 100% genetical guarantee and the pedigree for the kitten or cat. All of our cats and kittens are trusting and loving towards humans and other animals. They will remain this way as long as they are in a loving/caring environment.
I pride myself on the long-term relationship with all of our customers. We remain available to all of our customers as long as they wish to communicate.
